It was awesome. By far the most complex undertaking in the class.
ROFL! That's where my obsession started. I did the same thing on autocad. I really wish I had access to that program. Sketchup is nice, but autocad is far superior.

Going to work on the interior soon?
If I recall, the front is about 200' wide, the church is about 250' deep, and it's about 250' high (at the towers). The interior will take some time. This will probably become a long-term project. I've already added a few more touches and major changes to the front facade, as well as making the back of the Church a semicircular tower with a half-cylinder roof. Unfortunately, I can't make it too detailed or the file would be impossibly large and the program would freeze. I'll also add water spouts (which would be gargoyles if I could do that much detail), add spires to the flying buttresses, put in more windows, etc. Then I'll move on to the interior. I'm going to make the columns more elaborate, build an apse, place an organ in the transept, add an altar choir, a high altar, and some small chapels around the outside. Then I'll work on the crypt church. I'm not putting in pews. You can call it ancient tradition if you want, but copying and pasting that many rows of seats is sure to make Abraham of my design - it'll slaughter my RAM. Apotheoun
Nice graphical design. Rexi is right that a dome would be out of place in Raphael's drawing, but I do love domes.

SoonerCatholic
That's a beautiful church design and a very cool rood screen. I have always thought that if my university parish could ever build a new church I would want it built in "Cherokee gothic" style like the university buildings see: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:OU_Bizzell_Library.jpg The church was built in the 70s and is rather unattractive, the library looks more like a church......
