Yeah don't think I could handle the whole lotus birth. That seems very strange to me.

The placenta comes out right away. I think the baby would be attached to the placenta.

:yes: The placenta is birthed within about 30 minutes of the child being born (sooner if you have the injection to speed it up, but I don't think you can do delayed cord clamping that way, and there's a slightly increased risk of retained placenta that way, I think).
