Ora et Labora
I am in the process of applying for NET USA right now. Hopefully I can mail the application in tomorrow!! Prayers would be appreciated as this is a big step for me. It's been a hard decision to make since I'm in school. But I'm having to re-think my Major right now, and my concentration process for school is very low this semester. I have no idea why!!! I've been praying about NET for a while now, and if I'm accepted I believe it will be a good experience.

What brings you to want to do NET? (I thought you were trad!)
I am neither Traditional nor Charismatic. I DID attend a Tridentine Mass for several years, and I find it to be one of the most beautiful Masses. (I also love the Anglican Use, which I guess you could call "traditional." I know NET is somewhat Charismatic (I wont know HOW MUCH until I join.) I have just prayed about it, and find that the orgainization isn't a bad one. What do you think about it, Jeff? She ended up loving it.

Just do not compromise your position/beliefs surrounding the Catholic liturgy and what not to "appeal" to young people. Do what you need to do. I know a couple of people who toured Canada and they enjoyed it. It's a lot of hard work and relying on the charity of others. Also, I hope you're interpersonal, because it means staying with a team no matter what. You might make a best friend or two in the end, eh? I'm having a hard time finishing the application. Inspiration for the short essay questions is not coming to me. There are questions like 1) How has your relationship with God changed you? This one SHOULD be easy, but when you think about it, you could write a BOOK on that! Another is 2) Name someone you know that is not a family member that has inspired you and elaborate. I can't think of anyone. I don't know why, but these questions are giving me mental blocks! (Love you too, sis!)

(I'm not trying to be insulting, but a lot of us can speak from experience in that way ) also, I'm sure God gives you the inspiration to spread the gospel, and this is what you think you're called to do! As for the outside inspiration, I suppose you can talk of a saint! The Church victorious are indeed alive and inspiring to all of us!
