immaculata
Still getting those pesky pop-under ads... What pop-up blocker would you suggest?
ryanmeyersmusic
Go to http://www.lavasoft.de Download the FREE AdAware Client Run a System Scan Set it up to run when your computer boots up. It's by far the best Adware killer on the net, and it's free!
immaculata
Okay.. I've found one more problem. I thought I went through and deleted all the amazingautosearch files that hijackthis had found. But now, whenever I try to go to my home page on IE, it attempts to link it through the amazingautosearch website. AAS puts a sort of search-window thing along the bottom of the screen, then directs me to my normal homepage. When I have my pop-up blocker on, it won't let the search-window come up, and won't let me go to my homepage. Did I just miss deleting a file or something? Should I run hijackthis again? It never did this before I used the anti-spyware stuff.
Iacobus
There are some programs out there that will "lock" your homepage to what you want. Get one and lock in on the site you want. About the search bar, no idea.
