AccountDeleted
You know I am praying for you my friend... but please go slowly and wait on God's time and all you so ardently long for will be given to you shaken down and pressed in the abundance of His love for you. May God always make you a tenacious lover of Him surrendering all in Love. tenderly, Indwelling Trinity
Thank you so much. I can't help but go slowly as the timing has nothing to do with me, but with the community. I rest in the arms of Jesus as always. I have been away from Carmel for seven months now and God knows what is best in all things. I have been so grateful to have been able to connect with family again in Australia and to meet nieces and nephews that I might never have seen if I had never come back here. The one thing that I have learned from everything that has happened is that all things are done for our good, as Julian of Norwich said, "All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well." I will post more as I hear more, but for now, I wait, content that I have done all I can to come closer to God, and now it is in His Hands what He wants of me. I can't find the quote but one of the hermits told me that Catherine of Sienna was told by Jesus that He didn't want her great deeds, but her longing for Him. So, whatever the outcome may be, I am offering Him my longing for Him. I thank you for your prayers. Please pray that I only do what is pleasing to Him in this matter. AccountDeleted
I love all the emoticons everyone - thank you for being as happy for me as I am. I know it is way too soon to say anything because until the Council actually confirms with me, it is all still in the realm of hope, but that's ok. The thirst will only get stronger, and that is a good thing no matter what the outcome. "My soul thirsts for you like a dry, weary land without water." Miss Hepburn
Nunsense, I offer this...always remember it makes no difference where you are, who you are, what you do - you will never escape being in Him and He in you. In this, I wish you the peace of being in His Presense eternally. May I add this: Psalm 139 Oh Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit or stand. When far away you know my every thought. You chart the path ahead of me and tell me when to stop and rest. Every moment you know where I am. You know what I am going to say before I even say it. You both precede and follow me, and place your hand of blessing on my head. This is too glorious, too wonderful to believe! I can NEVER be lost to your Spirit! I can Never get away from my God! If I go to heaven, you are there. If I ride the morning winds to the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, your strength will support me. If I try to hide in the darkness, the night becomes light around me. For even darkness cannot hide from God; to you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are both alike to you. You made all the delicate inner parts of my body, and knit them together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about Your workmanship is marvelous - and how well I know it. You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion! You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Everyday was recorded in your Book! How precious it is, Lord to realize that you are thinking about me constantly! I can't even count how many times a day your thoughts turn towards me. And when I waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!

AccountDeleted
I am going to say thank to all fo you who have made posts here instead of replying to each one, but I do thank each and every one of you. Prayers are everything, so thank you for these so very much. I know that all is as God wants it and I pray also for surrender to His will, whatever that may turn out to be. I persevere but I leave all in His hands.
