Woah, I actually know who he is. I was expecting it to be an unknown actor.
Outstanding.

What a sad story, but what a good witness for his beliefs. Here is a man who has "put his money where his mouth is." Thank-you for posting the entire article, because my first thought was that he might not have made it clear in his contract that he wouldn't do sex scenes. Obviously not, and in fact, he made his views abundantly clear and there was no "misunderstanding."

What frustrates me so much is that the sex scenes probably added nothing to the plot, and the scenes could have been set elsewhere without harming the story. If it was necessary to the plot for some reason that the actors be in the bedroom, why not have them wear (non-revealing) bathrobes? Anyone who has been married knows that there are many, many ways for a couple to show love that do not involve having sex.

Good for him. I've often wondered how actors justify the stuff they do onscreen if they're married.

I remember when I was a kid wondering how Elizabeth Montgomery could kiss Dick York on Bewitched, since I knew they weren't really married.

I remember him only as Nicolette Sheridan's creepy psycho-killer husband... Good for him for doing the right thing.

Interesting that he'll refuse a sex scene but is ok with playing a murderer.

there is one difference. that's that an "on screen" murder doesn't involve actually harming another human being

whereas "on screen" sex definitely means actually making out with another human being whose not your wife.
