Margarite
I think, from the many posts I've read here in phatmass, that when people convert to the catholic church, they do it because they aquired irrefutable knowldege that they could no longer ignore. Onthe contrary, when people fall away from the catholic church, they do it because they don't have enough facts about the dogma. Are there any excatholics around here that would like to share why they got out? Maybe this topic should go to the debate table. I'm editing because I can't make the fonts the way I want. theculturewarrior
My reasons for converting weren't so concrete. I basically "felt" my way to the Church. About midway through RCIA though, I started researching the Faith, and became convicted of its reality. I guess not every conversion is intellectual. Mine, initially, was emotional.
