From May 19-June 3. This is with my school, although I'm not taking the class for credit because I've already fulfilled my Theology requirements and I've done all my free electives. Therefore I only had to pay traveling expenses, no tuition, which saved me a heck of a lot. Anyway I have everything squared away, today was our first meeting and we'll have three more. The official course title is "In the Footsteps of the Saints." We'll be studying Peter, Paul, Augustine, Catherine of Siena, Francis and Clare, Ignatius, and Don Bosco.

For the first week we'll be visiting - Turin, Milan, Bologna, and Assisi.
For the second week we'll be in Rome, with day trips to Ravenna and Pavia.

I'll be seeing the Shroud of Turin and be present for the Pope's weekly audience :pope:, among other things. :woot:

No Don Orione? :sadder:

You should bring him up to the group. It's a shame that he's not more well known. (And he was a student of Don Bosco, so there's a connection).

We'll have plenty of free time to ourselves, and Fr. said it's amazing how far some students will travel.

Of course I'll take pictures lol.

Really?? Call me when you are in Bologna!!!
