Moabites & Ammonites

also in Genesis 19, we read that Lot's daughters got him drunk in order to preserve offspring through him. The first-born bore a son, Moab, father of the Moabites; the younger also bore a son, Benammi, father of the Ammonites. I remember from reading elsewhere (in Nehemiah?) that the Ammonites were enemies of the Israelite people. Is the incest the reason why?

I think this is the Theological point. Incest (and other sexual sins) are paid for most by future generations.

For instance, divorce for instance wrecks children (and their Christmases) more than adults.
