Marini hypnotizes you and forces you to accept the Church. Srsly, ask Jesus_Lol. he's escaped from them once or twice now. The holy water dipped Cross-bows were a little cheap i think, stung pretty good, but i survived. not looking forward to the next battle, stocking up my arsenal A U-haul eh? that might have been helpful... ive been here for more than 3.... BarbTherese
I am certainly disturbed by the tone of some posts I have been reading this evening - some of which are not recent posts (some are) and in a particular thread I had not been following. If not revealing a truth may bring harm to others, then I think there is an obligation to reveal that truth. This is up to the person revealing that truth to weigh up and decide. But sometimes for one reason or another unknown, some posters seem to want to jump on the 'bandwagon' and set about totally blackening the name of another amounting to a level of persecution of that person. This I think can be very close to detraction for one. http://www.therealpresence.org/cgi-bin/getdefinition.pl DETRACTION. Revealing something about another that is true but harmful to that person's reputation. It is forbidden to reveal another person's secret faults or defects, unless there is proportionate good involved. The fact that something is true does not, of itself, justify its disclosure. Detraction is a sin against justice. It robs one of what most people consider more important than riches, since a person has a strict right to his or her reputation whether it is deserved or not. (Etym. Latin detractio, a withdrawal.) Blessings this Lent..........Barb
The fact that something is true does not, of itself, justify its disclosure.
and yet, the fact that non disclosure would cause injury to others does justify that disclosure. This is not the right thread for this discussion BT because I am pretty sure I know what you are referring to, so perhaps a moderator will move it to somewhere more appropriate, like the original thread that you are objecting to? Just my HO. I am perfectly happy not to continue it furthher, but I posted what I felt was necessary at the time in the best interests of other more vulnerable people. And blessings to you during Lent as well....
When I saw your negative for this post I tried to get it out but unfortunately I've already finished my points for this day (I don't know why they are so few!). And actually, even if I hadn't read that thread too, I realized it should be nice, not offensive, since you would have never praised a thread offensive toward Jesus. And I love truth before every other thing, you know! I will try again tomorrow!
OraProMe
Thanks for the negative! My record was minus 30 but I must have become popular since then or something. Aiming for lame and whack.
Saint Therese
A negative point for saying the rating system is lame is rather ironic.
