I know two couples that choose to have vasectomys. One couple took NFP classes (creaton model) found out they were fertal on there honeymoon and got pregnant with twins. Then missread there charts and got pregnant twice more and now have 4 kids. After there last kid the wife's body had a lot of problems and the doctor said that she would have some life threatening problems if she got pregnant again.

the second couple got pregnant right after marrage and had some major problems with the pregnancy. The wife almost died and they had to take the baby around three months early. the wife got a heart defect and the kid barley made it. the doctors told them that any future kids that they would have will probably have the same problems.

Both husbands decided to have vasectomys to not have any more kids and save there wifes from life threatening pregnancys.


I think that if they both knew nfp well they would be beter off with nfp but I don't know about haveing to learn nfp while knowing that you can't get pregnant
