Bruce S
I'm wondering, honestly, if a conversation can be had on our issues without ANY cut and paste, quotes, or the like? On the differences? Who wants to go first? The rule, if we agree, is the first person to resort to a quote, book, scripture, etc, immediately loses and has to withdraw and cease in this thread? So, I suggest we start with this topic? WHY DON'T WE AGREE?

Bruce S
Doing this as just conversation will be hard for some, but it could be very enlightening...
RandomProddy
We can try. We can't agree because we imagine God in our own image and as a base instinct people think that "God is on our side" so the other person, as they disagree with you, is automatically wrong. Just a thought Edited April 11, 2004 by RandomProddy
homeschoolmom
Well... what's the topic? Or is the topic whether or not we can talk without pasting...
the lumberjack
randomproddy, no...I don't agree with that. I live far from mulls, and have never met him, yet we would probly agree on about 80 percent of our doctrine. people's beliefs DO differ a bit...but it should never about the foundations of faith. drinking? not too important... don't do it if brings reproach to the name of Christ, or if it causes others to stumble. sex? not before marriage drugs? destroys the temple in which the Holy Spirit should be abiding in these aren't necessarily foundations of faith...but we'd still probly agree. foundations of faith are our deep central beliefs about God...and no, I'm not just talking about calling any shmuck out there who says they have these same foundations brother. I'm tired. I need to sleep. Its almost 6 am over here...and I have yet to sleep. God bless.
