What Piece Of Art Reflects Your Vocation?

In the Daughters of St Paul Chicago come and see video they have a little question that popped up and caught my attention. The question is what piece of art reflects your vocation? Well Im not sure what my vocation is right now but two pieces of art that have meaning for me are these two and am wondering what art reflects, inspired, sums up, or has anything to do with other people`s possible vocation?

The Virgin of San Cristobal in Chile. I have never been there but when I saw this statue on tv once ... its hard to explain but I was overcome with this sense of Mary`s love for me. I hadnt been going to church at the time and was very much the prodigal daughter but seeing that statue and that sudden sense of love...

I am a poster child for Divine Mercy. The devotion, the message all of it means so much to me because Id be lost for eternity without it.

I love this question and will have to do some pondering before I give my answer. I know there are pieces of art that I absolutely love, but to find one that specifically reflects my vocation... ...that's going to be a toughy.

I'll get back to you. :D

It might not directly be a piece of art, but it is a picture

The first time I saw it I thought "Ooo..I want to be buried in a habit". It was a completely spontaneous thought, and after I realized what I had been thinking I thought it was a totally weird thing to think. So this picture is special to me now.

I have to agree with nunsense:

Bernini
Ecstacy of St. Teresa

Though I don't want to limit it to one so I'll look for another and get back. I need to look for a Theology of the Body related piece of art, (not to say this one isn't).

Here's another. The reason I chose this one is because I feel that God has entrusted to me in a special way the mystery of the incarnation. He has given me talent as a figurative artist and throught that I hope to do my role in presenting the truth of the human person revealed throught the body. My vocation is all about proclaiming JPII's Theology of the Body. Also my life is dedicated to the Eucharist, the body of Christ. So really on many levels my vocation is about the incarnation, and centers around the body of Christ. Also this sketch by Michelangelo of the risen Christ.

My vocation is the redemption of the body!

It's the icon of the Myhrrbearing Women aka the Holy Myhrrbearers.
My favorite is St. Susanna, in the back, with empty hands, but she is there.
