Guest Guest
A friends grandmother died during Holy Week, and another priest friend today. My friend whose grandmother died said something about how the Pope granted some type of grace or something for those dying that when they died, they got sainthood by special permission for this year during this Easter. Of course, the priest knew the life of this person, etc, and had her "ok" for sainthood but what is this special gift/grace/"intercession" (?) that she speaks of? The priest had told her, "The Pope gave us special permission this year" or something. Any help would be apprieciated.
BLAZEr
This is not true. The pope could not grant this type of promise, nor did he. I'm not sure what you heard, but it is not true that anyone who dies this week is a saint.
