the lumberjack
I'll gladly submit and kiss the guillotine blade should I be blessed to see that day.
Justified Saint
But you forget that the guillotine was used to slaughter Catholics.
theculturewarrior
Ashley, with all due respect, what about Moses? The Hebrews put a great deal of faith in him! (Imagine today a whole nation following a man through a parted sea, into a desert for forty years).
Justified Saint
Ashley, the Catholic Church needs a Pope because Jesus said His Church needed one. It is really simple actually. We can't be faulted for doing what the Bible says. The Pope doesn't replace a person's ability to think. Make no mistake, Catholic culture has made invaluable contributions to society in free thought, science, and the arts throughout history.
MC Just
Ashley- ISIAIAH 22:20-23 "He shall be a Father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem" Father in Latin is "Papa" or "Pope" if you read the verse in latin it would say "He shall be a Pope to the Inhabitants of Jerusalem"
