Time to break out the turtle: the other beef. ~Sternhauser
Reptiles are kosher?

Alligator might fly, too, as they are cold-blooded. ~Sternhauser Edited February 14, 2010 by Sternhauser
I'm sure that if you found an archaeopteryx, that the Holy Father himself would give you a special dispensation to eat it. Interesting note: almost all archaeopteryx fossils are found with their heads in a thrown-back position, the agonal, or death posture, strongly indicating that they were almost all asphyxiated. Which is a word that also has a P, a Y and an X in it, which makes it doubly cool. ~Sternhauser Edited February 14, 2010 by Sternhauser

CatherineM
I had a debate about whether alligator was fish or meat, and the consensus was farm raised, meat and wild is fish, because of what the gators have eaten. Wild ones eat fish and taste like fish. Farm raised ones eat other stuff, and tastes like chicken.
