Ed Normile
Maybe I am just being a stick in the mud but I fail to find any humor in Hitler, even attempts at using his likeness for humor, so I did not watch the clips. I just seem to think that the man responsible for millions of deaths of jewish and romany peoples was pure evil and no way funny. This would be akin to making a humor video of the 9-11 planes crashing into the trade towers in my mind, or maybe a funny abortion mill video. I wonder how many jewish people find these cute? ed
jeffpugh
Yeah. I have to say, I have mixed feelings about this one, too. Back to you, Bob.
eustace scrubb
as soon as i saw this thread, i knew what it was going to be. it was still absolutely hilarious, the best i've ever seen so far. to address the posts above, i'm 1/4 to 1/2 Ashkenaziam Jew and my entire family in Poland, as far as my family here knows, died in the Holocaust. we still tell Holocaust jokes in spite of that. in fact, Jews tell more jokes about the Holocaust than anyone in the world. why? well, there's a Jewish saying that goes "i laugh, because if don't, i will not be able to stop crying." self-effacing humor is how we deal with all of the incredible number of tragedies that have befallen us. and it's thousands of years of that is how we've managed to produce the best comedians in history... jeffpugh
Wow... I didn't know there were jokes. I suppose that is one of the most resilient philosophies out there, no?
