I'm on . . . but I totally lied on my application . . .

In fact, I kinda feel guilty . . . cuz, well, even though I didn't technically lie . . . my answers were intended to be deceptive . . . I'm not using my real name, I did not say that I was a Catholic, and well, all the same . . .

I'm on!

muwahahahahaha :ninja:

Does that sound kind of Creepy?
Yes, and it blows my mind that people are going hahaha, I'm being deceptive and signing up and I'm signing up as so and so. Geez. Well, now they know who you are and trust me they don't have any more respect for you after this thread.

I'm a former moderator and keep in touch with several from the board. Please. I do know what goes on there.

Yikes...lol

I wish I were brave enough to do that. I always get soooo tripped up when people question my faith :sadder: I never say the right thing...and I just leave them more confused. But when you do think of what you should have told them, it's too late- not like you can go back the next day and explain yourself because then it looks like you had to go and do research or something...

Sigh
Any prayers would be quite appreciated :)

I was honest and my application was declined. Apparently "I am a Christian and Jesus is my Lord and Savior" isn't enough of a statement of faith to appease the moderators there.

I guess they were looking for, "Jesus is Lord and Jerry Falwell is His Prophet."

I posted on BaptistBoard for well over three years as a regular there and eventually was kickbanned for "proselytizing":

A few minutes ago Dr. Bob Griffin, BB Administrator, has placed the following post in the Baptist Board.com Announcements forum (which is self explanatory). Among others, you have been chosen for termination of BB membership because of your efforts to proselytize unsuspected members. Please see the direct quote below:

>>> The BaptistBoard is designed primarily for Baptists. Half of the forums are restricted to active members in Baptist churches. The remainder are open to allow folks who claim any "Christian" religious affiliation to post freely.

Recently we asked certain non-Baptist posters to not "proselytize" their religion, not to declare that "salvation was only through their church." This is NOT a forum to try to cast doubt on a person's relationship with the Lord or to try to convert someone weak in the faith to another religion.

Since certain posters continued to violate that request and would not temper their language, we have had to ban them from posting on the BaptistBoard. This is a "last step" that we personally wished we did not have to take.

We thought it important to let everyone see that our actions were not capricious or out of anger. Thank you all for understanding. <<<

Respectfully,

Barnabas (BB Administrator)

In all seriousness, people at the Baptist Board are the most warm, good-natured people you are likely to meet. It's such a friendly, loving community.

Which unfortunately is more than I can say of this board.
