I have a Twitter, but I never really figured out how to use it. Nearly all my friends use Facebook, and there are only a few people I know who use Twitter.

I'd never noticed the small "Turn off Buzz" link. It's not that I have any opposition to the idea so much as I'm on "Social media" overload. I've got the requisite Facebook profile and I do the occasional Twitter stuff, but that's more than enough for me. I'd prefer to keep my e-mail account away from things like that.

Right now there are less then ten people who are connected with me on google buzz, and only one of them actually uses it. It just is not an overload. Avoiding Facebook is an overload, and Twitter can turn into an overload, so I limit the amount of people I follow.

I mentioned to two of the brothers who also use gmail were immediately turned off by this. I guess I wasnt, because only close friends know about my gmail account. Everyone else gets a Live account. If I used gmail for business, I would probably be more ambivelant about this thing.
