Episcopalian Woman "priest" On Tlc

a 26 year old female "priest" was on [i]What Not to Wear[/i] tonight on TLC. it was pretty darn weird. they kept calling her a priest and she was wearing a solid white collar. super awkward question asked by the hairstylist, "as a priest, is it okay to be sexy?"

i saw pictures from her "ordination." looks like they were "consecrating" a sandwich from subway. dead serious.

wow her rainbow cape is pretty awesome.

Well, this is just ridiculous. Why don't they call her a preacher or a minister?

Anglican orders for both men and women are invalid, so even a male Anglican cleric on the show should not have been called a priest.

Where I come from, we have a name for people like this, but I'm not sure if it's kosher to say it on PM or not.

She was Episcopal, not Anglican.
There is a difference between the two.
