Cheap Plus Sized Skirts

I'm planning on going on a discernment retreat in a couple of months and I need skirts to wear. Does anyone know where I can get them relatively inexpensively? I have around 50 dollars to spend, and I'd prefer to be able to buy more than one.

Shukr, while not cheap, make really good skirts. I bought three, and they are awesome. You can always wear them multiple times.

Usually they are around $50, but some have been marked down to around $34. They are really well made, and I love the shape of the ones I have got.

The goodwill and thrift stores always have some options too, much cheaper. I walked up to a woman at the store the other day and she had a beautiful jean skirt on. I asked her where she and her daughter got their skirts. She said the goodwill.

Look around at thrift shops.

Check out clearance racks at Lane Bryant. They sometimes have decent styles, although it is hit and miss. Also check out [url="http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/x5.aspx?DeptID=50434&CatID=51568&cmAMS_T=X3&cmAMS_C=C14&CmCatId=50449"]JC Penney. [/url] They generally have decent prices.

maurices, old navy, target, all your typical deparment stores. though for cheap, i'd say old navy is your best bet. i think DEB also has plus sizes.

OOh thanks! I'm always on the lookout for a place that sells good skirts.

Here is another great place, it has plus sizes as well. You can afford two skirts for about 50 bucks. Plus they are very stylish!

I've found some really good deals online at Woman Within, Lane Bryant and Avenue.

If you don't mind used, check some consignment shops, or possibly a Goodwill store. I've found some really cool stuff at Goodwill.

So, I was just looking at the shukr site, and not that it matters, but I didn't realize they were an Islamic company.

Ashley Stewart is another place to look too if you are going to go to Catherines or Lane Bryant.

Good luck with LB though. They don't have much in on the skirt front, and I have hated every skirt I ever bought from them. They are made so weird. I guess it doesn't hurt to look though.
