I know it's not in the Boston area, but you should really try to get to the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA if you can. :)

The top one is a pieta of such with Mary and the body of Christ under her mantle. She is holding a chalice and the eucharist. The four symbols symbolize the four writers of the Gospels.

The next one is a crucifix with angels (seraphim?) below. Some of the figures are holding the objects of the crucifixion, nails, crown of thorns etc. It's not clear what's above it. Three figures, but can't tell who they are...Perhaps others can shed more light?

shopping mall Catholic church
I did find one Roman Catholic church where I least expected during my stay in Boston, in a shopping mall of all places. It was by far the plainest or simplest decorated chapel I have ever seen. It is located at the base (ground floor) of the 52 story prudential building. There was a nice restaurant on top and observation deck on the 50[sup]th[/sup]floors that was quite grand.

This picture is the main alter, that is visible from the shopping mall lobby. The priest in charge, said the chapel has been there since 1965

With all due respect,
Stockbridge is about as far west in Massachusetts as you can get, in the Berkshire Mountains, past Tanglewood, Lenox, Great Barrington...practically New York already, just so you know.

There is a Carmelite chapel in another shopping mall, but it's not directly in Boston, it's in a nearby city.

You can do what I just did: visit the website http://www.masstimes.org and enter a zipcode or a city.
Your map in your post shows that you have a route between Dana Farber Cancer Center in Longwood area, and the Westin Copley hotel near the library. With those two locations you have access to...well...a LOT of stuff. Let's see what I can squash into this post.
St Clement Eucharistic Shrine at 1105 Boylston St, Boston, 02115. Run by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate if I recall right. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.

Holy Cross Cathedral at 1400 Washington St, Boston, 02118. THE cathedral for the Archdiocese of Boston, where Sean Cardinal O'Malley, amongst others, presides at Mass. Late Sunday mornings, the Lower chapel has a Tridentine Latin mass.

St Anthony at 100 Arch St, Boston, 02110. Franciscan center. Here, too, there is Adoration seven days a week. This center is recommended, for what it is worth, by the vocations directress at the Poor Clares Monastery in Jamaica Plain.

St Mary of the Assumption at 3 Linden Place, Brookline, 02445. Not too far from Dana Farber I would guess.

St Leonard of Port Maurice at 14 North Bennet St, Boston, 02113. Sunday Mass includes one service in Italian.

Our Lady of Czestochowa at 655 Dorchester Ave (the locals call it Dot Ave), South Boston, 02127. Sunday service includes two Masses in Polish.

The Paulist Center at 5 Park St, Boston 02108. Mass every day. Near Boston Common.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 1545 Tremont St., Boston, 02120.
If this is what I think it is (not totally sure here)
the fathers are Redemptoristine, and this building is a basilica.

Well I live 60 miles west of Boston.

There are plenty of things to see in Boston, especially historical sites.

The best place to start is to walk the Freedom Trail. It begins at the Boston Common, and all you have to do is
follow the red line on the sidewalk. You'll go through the North End, where the Paul Revere Houses is, and the
Old North Church. Don't miss eating at one of the many Italian restaurant's there.

The Shrine of Divine Mercy, in Stockbridge, is at least a 3 hour drive west. The Church there is beautiful, but
I don't think its a practical visit this time of year.

That's not the tabernacle, and there probably isn't a tabernacle at all.

This chapel is right in the Government Center Shopping Center,
so is open to all people of all denominations, although is Catholic and there
are Masses said there.

The Franciscans thought putting a chapel in this location, would help people return or join the faith.

Its actually really nice.

Yes they are welcome, but this chapel is open at the same time as the shopping mall
so its mission is different than a parish church. The idea is to give people a place
to get away from the hustle and bustle and to be able to sit and pray, if they wish.

I don't even think there is anyone watching the place while its open, so having a
tabernacle would risk having the Sacred Host tampered with.
