The only thing that I'm not so fond about is his orchestration of FLUTE parts. :annoyed:

When the New World Symphony, I think his best friend must have been the 2nd flutist. They get all the good solos. AMD they get to double on piccolo. Not cool, Antonin. Not cool.

As the 1st flutist, I'd give him a -1 for that.

Funny you should post this...

Just yesterday I was walking down the hallway at my college and I heard a violin playing something from his Symphony No. 9. I was supposed to be in Moral Philosophy, but I couldn't help stopping to listen for a bit. I love it!

You should listen to his opera Rusalka, specifically the aria Song to the Moon (don't know the Czech name), sung by Renee Fleming. So beautiful.

Me too !, I am lost however with all this composer talk, I have a hard enough time just composing my self properly.
