Yeh, I tried to go back and change the thread title because it's all misleading. I mean time conflict, and by time conflict I mean there just isn't enough of it.

That's what I was wondering too. If it's time, then yes. But otherwise, no.

I would say yes and no. No, I make time for Mass on Sundays and Holy Days but yes, sometimes it is difficult to concentrate on prayer.

And just think how much time people spend on forums on top of that!

EDIT: Clarification ftw.

Well, another problem is when I do have time, I use that time for something other than prayer - movies, phone, AIM, and forums like you said. Then once I do actually open my Bible, I wonder why I've waited so long.

word. I spend more time thinking about praying and reading the Bible than doing it. But that's because its a little awkward to be reading and praying in the Cafeteria.

Well you can always read the Bible on your laptop, or read a spiritual book that's less noticeable than a huge Bible.

Sometimes. I try to say my evening prayers, but sometimes I just fall asleep without doing them. I do try to set aside some time for God each day, though. Even if it's something small, like a walk or even talking to a friend, it does help a great deal.

I do shift work. It means I can't really commit myself to being a eucharistic minister or a reader or something because my shifts aren't known well enough in advance. Its also a nusiance if there's a timing conflict, especially on holy days of obligation that fall in the week, because there's usually only one mass on those days and I could be working. :annoyed:
