Moosey
I found a little green beetle in my garden salad (it was alive) at a sushi place one time. I saw it's antennae sticking out of my salad. He was just chillin! It was the funniest thing. L_D thinks I should have eaten him to see what it tasted like

It had split open in the cooking, so bits of bug development juices and guts and half legs were splayed all over the florret. Although, by far the worst critter I found a lurking in my food was I opened a packet of biscuits and after having two I greedily went in for a thrid (they were fruit bikkies so less fat so it was okay!!) After the first bite I noticed something dangling off the end of the bikkie, and I thought it was a hair. It wasn't. It was some kind of strand a giant maggot was hanging off!! Suffice it to say, I've never purchased those biscuits again, or any biscuits made by that company. All my dad could say was "did you save the maggot and biscuits?" I was like "Ew, no, why?" "So we can get free stuff off the b@$tards". In hind sight, he was right. Edited January 24, 2010 by Happy_Catholic
