Divine Mercy 9999
There should be a monk emoticon. Something like this one One that looks like Thomas Aquinas would be good.

There are differences of massive proportions between a Monk and a Friar.

[/quote] I'm not much on Carthusians. The Franciscan Friars are amesome, though. When it comes to Monastic Orders, I am partial to the Benedictines. I'm discerning with the Benedictine Monks at Clear Creek at the moment.

HopefulBride
I don't think I ever did this. (And I've been here over a year and half!) I am discerning the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Church (Religious Community) I have been discerning with them since July 2009 I have been discerning Religious Life for about 4 years The final push for me was the fact that I literally wanted to live in the Church and would enviously look at those who lived across the street from the Blessed Sacrament. That coupled with the fact that I got mad that there were no 2nd or 1st order for married people made me realize that my deepest desire was Religious Life.
