You know what I don't like about his logic? If this really was the Earth punishing people for "climate change" and "raping Gaia" or whatever, why the flying pancakes covered in dog food would the planet only punish "poor" nations?

Surely, SURELY, if Gaia or whoever were really annoyed, she'd go after the big offenders, like America or Europe.

Of course, God had a few choice words to say about people worshiping voiceless clumps of clay.

I heard geoligists theorize the cause of this earthquake was actually do to a religion afterall, it seems all the voodoists (is that a word, if not I want to coin it now) have dug up so many graves for ritual uses they have destabilized the very foundation of the land, or maybe not.

On the other hand, not the one with the finger I use for typing, you could not blame the earth for being angry. Since its creation by God the earth has went through many periods of climate change, tetonic plates moving and volcanos erupting and both forming and destroying land masses. Now some of its insignificant inhabitants have assumed the vanity of believing their actions have influenced the weather and natural upheavals of the massive planet they call home, and have the gall to consider they are capable of changing any of this.
Its the age old tendency, man educates himself to the point he rationalizes he has become all powerful, even god-like.
