God Bless you Mrs BA.
I kick and scream sometimes, too and I'm a "cradle" Catholic :)
I don't think God wants us to get to "comfortable" in our faith, He is constantly asking us to grow.

Well I can say I wanted to become Catholic as well as needing to. I'm lucky in that regards, otherwise I probably wouldn't have become Catholic.

I'll admit I had no interest in finding out anything about Catholicism is true. While I'm not Catholic, I'm ticked that I was told so many flat out lies. :ggggggggrrrrrrr:

But to be fair, Bro. Adam... the people who told you those things about Catholicism weren't doing it knowingly. And I doubt they were doing it to be malicious. They did it out of ignorance. And while that doesn't make it much better, it softens the blow (at least for me). It's not okay to be ignorant, but most anti-Catholics think they are knowledgable. In fact, the worst anti-Catholics I've encountered at former Catholics. I think they feel that *they* were lied to by the Catholic Church. Catholicism is so complex that it really requires a good education to understand *why* things are the way they are. Protestantism is so much "simpler" and yet we have all kinds of bible study groups to understand it... hmmmm... what's wrong with this picture?

For me, many of them do knowingly lie :sadder:

I know because I have lovingly corrected them many times and they still lie.

I think Teresa wants to become Catholic....

Didn't forget... just can't type with a five year old going, "when are you gonna cook the easter eggs, mom?" about a hundrend times!!

You said that you thought Teresa wants to become Catholic. I wondered what makes you think so. And in a second question, don't you want to become Catholic? I haven't checked your Cathometer lately. Which of you is "closer"? Or do you do a two steps forward, one step back... like I did... (Actually, it was like, "two steps forward... full retreat... two steps forward... retreat..." just have to make it through tonight!!)

Blessings.

Bobryan is hard-hearted and the BB is a weird place. I try to stay away from both of them. But I can't help watching them... like a bad accident.

I can see it in her eyes. Deep down we both have a longing to go to the Catholic Church. We both have a longing for a deeper more personal worship relationship with the Lord. It's the head knowledge and not being quite at peace with it that keeps us from it.

God Bless,
Bro. Adam
