True. However Sternhauser doesn't seem to see any crimes here except that of The State. He seems to see it as his typical "The State is TEH EVUL and people deserve whatever they get for submitting to it". As for insanity, it often takes it to know it. So I wouldn't know if a person were insane or not. Edited January 11, 2010 by BG45

"Islam" allegedly means "Submission to God." ("Submission to the god" is a better translation.) If you think the teachings which try to supplant and suppress the teachings of Christ are truly and divinely inspired, then by all means, continue to call their belief system "Submission to God." I will continue to call the cult "Mahometanism," as it is the belief in the teachings of Mahomet, not the teachings of the Triune God. ~Sternhauser
I doubt that many people belonging to the particular religion would find that respectful to call them "Mahometists."
That was not the gist of my message. Let me try again: the rape and the subsequent injustices done to her were, in fact, evil. Injustices. I am pointing out that according to your logic: "If you don't like what the State does, feel free to move/aggressive violence against you is justified by the mere fact that you stay in a land claimed by the State," then apart from the rape, she brought everything else upon herself by knowing the "laws" of the State and deciding to enter anyway. ~Sternhauser
Is it uncharitable to refuse to call a homosexual couple who are in a civil contract "married?" No? Then why is it uncharitable to refuse to call people who believe in and follow the teachings of Mahomet "Those who submit to the will of God?" I'm not going to lie to make people feel good about themselves. They may not like it, but it is not uncharitable. It would be uncharitable to condescendingly lie to them. ~Sternhauser Edited January 12, 2010 by Sternhauser
