Marie-Therese
I thought this isn't the government's idea? Isn't that what non-partisan means?
Technically, yes...however, in the parlance of United States politics, non-partisan usually means liberal. Rock the Vote doesn't necessarily receive government funding but many of these liberal-leaning groups certainly work the lobby to promote the Democratic administration's agenda. It's more or less a semantic argument, unfortunately. Just my 2 cents.

Lounge Daddy
Rock the Vote is a joke anyway. One of my favorite final quotes from Hunter S. Thompson, after the 2004 election: "we rocked the vote alright! Those little bastards betrayed us again." Of course, then he later put a gun in his mouth. jeffpugh
It's true. Who takes it seriously? A lot of people probably shook their heads and ignored the promotion.

This is what your government thinks of you.
And then they expect us to vote or even to take up the same system after they have become infirm? I think not. Fidei Defensor
I don't think it was that bad. I think they were a little over the top, perhaps, but in the real world, outside of your incense filled stone prisons, most people would find this funny at least. Our "stone prisons" aren't filled with incense any more; we've upgraded to banners . Keep up to date, dude....
Happy_Catholic
Recently I have met someone who chopped off their arm as they fell down a stairs trying to operate a chainsaw inside their house, someone who threw petrol on a bon fire and someone who's meth lab exploded in their face as they tried to cook their steak over one of the burners. Up until I watched that video, those were the dumbest things I had ever heard.
