i cannot complain about fluoride in the water.... I am certain there are much worse chemicals we are all exposed to everyday... you can always dig yourself a well... or get water delivered if you do not like sparkly teeth

Fluoride can affect people who suffer from hypothyroidism. It can also cause the disease. Rinsing your mouth out with fluoridated water is fine. Swallowing it is asking for trouble.  People should not be subjected to it.

If they haven't got sense enough to brush their teeth, than that is their problem.
