For someone who is atheistic you sure seam to focus the majority of your time and energy on the subject. Could it be that maybe, just maybe you have doubts about your lack of faith?

But apparently ad hominem attacks are ok if the subject isn't Christian.

i'd rather have fluoride than synthetic birth control hormones in my water...

To quote Winchester: There are those who might not consent to water treatment. They can go live in the wilderness. This is the problem with democracy--you people get the idea your personal opinions matter.

The document I posted is actually pretty interesting if you have the time to read it. :)
Contrary to popular belief, there is no proof that fluoride fights cavities. In the U.S., the government recently ordered toothpaste manufacturers to stop claiming it does until they could prove it. (None bothered to try.) Studies have shown that children in B.C., where most water is not fluoridated, have better teeth than children here, where it is. And while it's true there's no absolute proof that fluoride, at established levels, isn't safe, there is also no proof, as Limeback points out, that it is.

The stand most health officials seem to be taking these days is that, until we get proof that fluoride is harmful, it will continue to be added to water. (This may seem ironic, given that companies who want to market new drugs must prove they are safe first whereas a drug already in our water will stay there until we prove it isn't safe.)

Absolute proof may be hard to come by, but the evidence is abundant and compelling. A U.S. congressional subcommittee announced after hearings in 1977 that it could no longer assure the public that fluoride doesn't cause cancer; later tests, which it ordered, showed a link to bone and liver cancer.
Now that's just crazy. We all know that there is no increase in cancer since the government began experimenting on citizens with fluoridated water.

"Odin" is roughly how you could spell the Russian word for "one"

So I thought you were saying you worshiped the number one.

Of course, birth control is intrinsically evil, so it doesn't apply here.

It's wrong to go around dumping anything in anyone's water without their consent. Maybe I'll drive up to the reservoir in the middle of the night and pour ten gallons of powdered nutritional supplements into it to make everyone "healthier." Should that be allowed?
That's not gonna do anything...
