Have You Had Some Kind Of Miracle Happen Or Some Profound Spirtual Exp

My dad was out of work for over a year and our family began to struggle. He was in a horrible state of depression and he kept himself locked up in is room watching tv. He tried everything when he job hunted. No one would take him because he's old and doesn't have a degree, but he's really good at what he does because of experience. He'd get interviews but they never picked him. They picked some college kid fresh out of school. He applied to a great number of jobs and was either ignored or not chosen. One day he went outside and yelled at the heavens, "Why are you doing this to me?!? I've done all that you ask of me! WHERE ARE YOU?!?" Seconds later the phone rang with a job offer.

I know it isn't my miracle, but it's truly remarkable.

One time I was in class arguing with a guy about Odinism...He said it was all devil worship and rubbish blah blah blah. The moment after he said that there was a massive lightning strike and all the lights in the school went out.

Is there anything that has happened in your life that you could point to and say it was of God? Is there an answered prayer or something that happened that was a million-to-one "coincidence," and that you are certain was meant to be?

I'm not referring to what is an ordinary part of our faith or the "miracle" of a sunset or a baby being born, but of something that is remarkable and out-of-the-ordinary, and something you could reflect upon if you ever had doubts about your faith.

Yes Ive had some experiences that I would say were of God. Some big some small but I guess you want examples too. In 2007 I came back to the faith thanks to the Divine Mercy and so I had been saying the chaplet everyday for around a year. Then in early 2008 I went to Rome and some how came across a church near St Peters that has an image of the Divine Mercy enshrined. I felt like Jesus led me there as a reward. Oh and two days after I started saying the chaplet my brother flipped his motorbike, went head over heels over the handle bars, and walked away with maybe a scratch! There are more stories like that too so I`ll post them when I think of them

Yes.

But I find that the little miracles help too when I am worried or have doubts about whether I am doing things right. :)

I'm a convert and had many very powerful experiences in the beginning of my conversion.

Before I joined the Church and before I was 100% sure I should join, I went to our Adoration Chapel, and my first time there I thought I had been praying for only five or ten minutes, but when I looked at my watch, over forty-five minutes had passed.

To my disappointment, I did not receive any special feeling when I received my first Holy Communion (at age 38), but went to Mass the next day, and was really knocked for a loop. I continued going to daily Mass after that, and for a couple of weeks was so overwhelmed, that I could barely stand after receiving Communion.

My first two years as a Catholic were unbeliveably amazing and happy. I had no idea it was possible to be that happy. I felt sometmimes as of I were walking on clouds. Often I felt as if a beam of sunshine was follwowing me wherever I went, even on the most gloomy days.

But one day during my third year as a Catholic, it was as if the rug was swiflty pulled out from under me, and I have been wandering in darkness and have had a lot of suffering since then, sometimes wondering if it really happened, or whether I imagined it. But I know that others saw that I was touched by something special during that time, and had a special "glow," so it must have really happened.

Way before I became a Catholic I had been out on the river near my home. I was paddling in my canoe, thinking about some problems I was having, and thought to myself that it would be a nice way for God to give me a sign that my life would get better if he would cause a fish to jump into my canoe. And then I dismissed the thought and continued paddling around the river. I remember that I had thought that thought when the sun was setting, and by the time it happened, it was dark, so I am most certain that I did not reverse the order of my thought and what happened, which is that as I was paddling in the dark, I heard a loud splash, and then a thud, and suddenly there was a large bass flopping around in my canoe. It took a little effort, but I finally caught it and let it go, and then it hit me that my "prayer" had been answered. And some things in my life soon did improve.

Another one that I won't forget is that there had been an uncomfortable situation with another family at the Church--I don't want to share the details about that part of it--but that we were friends and some issues needed to be resolved, but didn't see how that would be possible. Then one day this family and our family were at the mall, and we bumped into each other at one of the stores, had some friendly discussion, and we made a huge step in healing some wounds. It might not seem like an amazing cooincidence, but this family rarely went to the mall, the timing was perfect, and we never saw them there before or after that one time.

One time at daily Mass, while on my way to receiving Communion, I experienced a beautiful and fragrant odor. I didn't know what to make of it at the time, and cannot rule out that it might have been someone's perfume, though I did not see anyone around me whose it could have been. I do remember it was sudden and powerful, though, as if the fragrance had been contained in a balloon that suddenly burst.

these are all so amazing - especially the conversion after seeing the Passion of Christ for bonus :) within the last few years have i been able to attribute the crazy coincidences in my life to God (Godincidences :)) but i can't think of any specific examples...
