We believe we are all children of Addam (as) and therefore we are brothers and sisters in humanity.
This is the same way in which I would call a Muslim a brother, i.e., basing the affirmation upon our common humanity.

But as it concerns religious faith a Muslim is not my brother; instead, only those who have been baptized into Christ, having thus experienced His death and resurrection sacramentally, can properly be called a brother.

Is there a difference between

Muslim
Moslem

?
Just variant English spellings. The former spelling is generally in favor today.

Sorry. :)

I have a question for you: What is the difference between Peking and Beijing?

P.S. - Perhaps our new members can give you the reasons why Muslims prefer the more recent English spelling of the word.

:D

Personal preference. Muslim is closer to the arabic. Although some cringe at Moslem because when Americans say it, it sounds like a different word.

Indeed, work and family's kept me so busy. I stopped in the tinychat last night, at last having a night off and had to ask where all the new folks came from! But welcome to you all :)

do you guys play Bingo?

If there is betting involved, then no. You will find the advanced financial laws of Islam are as pertinent today as they were 1400 years ago. Gambling, interest, spending beyond our means and loans for profit have led to our economic downfall

Muslim is closer to the pronounciation. If you are saying "Muslim" and there's a z sound, then stop yourself.
