Free Audio Mastering

Hello Pham!

I have just started an audio mastering company at www.35mastering.com

It just launched today and I would like to give anyone here who has some
tracks the opportunity to send them to me and I will master them for you
for FREE. On the website I have this service listed for 34.95 but
feedback is important so I am willing to do this for free for Phatmass
members in exchange for thier feedback of the service since I am just starting out.

I am not sure if many of you are interested or none at all-but if there is up to 10
of you who are-I will honor the first 10 who reply to this thread.

Just email me your track via yousendit or similar link and I'll get it mastered free of charge for
you within 24 hours.

Just an update-your Master is scheduled to be complete around this time tomorrow.

Wow!! awesome! i cant wait to hear it. so, as you seem to be in the field, what exactly does mastering entail? i only have a rough idea

I noticed your file was very small and had little headroom for editing.

Regardless, I did my best to clean it up and give it a bass boost per your request.

I created two masters for your file-the first link is your track with a smooth EQ master with extra bass applied.
The second has compression added with some 'brightness' effects. A touch of reverb and a few filters with a nice, strong
clarity added.

Let me know which you like best and your thoughts on both.
Try to listen to them on a good set of speakers to get the full effect.

yeah sorry bout the file size, it wasnt my fault

hehe sorry, i meant the needed a bass track(like the instrument) that was really just an aside to myself. that said the bass sounds good!
im downloading them now, will get back to you on it!!!

ok, after listening to them both(on my headphones, sorry ill jack my brothers speakers in a little bit ) i like the second master a little better. as you said, i didnt give you much to work with, and while i generally dont have much of a ear for subtle studio magic stuff they do sound a little better, less like they were recorded in a basement, which they were.

the first master was nice with the bass added, but the second one seems a little more even, balanced. sorry i cant say more, my ear only extended to melody and basic guitar tone.

Jesus_lol - You will not be able to detect any difference of quality of your tracks on headphones.
Your masters are specifically designed to be played on loud speakers. Headphones generally have no bass inputs and present you with mainly treble.

Let me know when you play your tracks on something other than headphones-you should notice a significant difference at that time.

hmm ok!
they are nice overeartype headphones, but yeah not studio quality. ill try my brothers speakers on in my car!
