For me, almost entirely from Phatmass and good books.

I find it profoundly tragic, actually.
~Nice edit after the fact.~

Although I went to pre-Vatican II Catholic School and educated by nuns, I think I learned most of about Catholicism, from participating in Christian forums with anti-catholic fundamentalist. I had to do research to educate myself against their accusations. At the time, there were no Catholic forums on the intranet where I worked, nor on the WWW. I also worked with a Jehovah's Witness who was a former Catholic, who challenged me.

As far as faith, it comes solely from God.

My father, my Godmother, and the nuns in a pretty decent Catholic school. Later as an adult, a pastor who specialized in adult catechism encouraging me to go back to school for my theology degree. Then Newman University, and now Newman Theological College/St. Joseph's Seminary.

This, and debate with a Catholic back when I was unorthodox that threw me onto my back more than once. It bruised my ego, and made me angry enough to not want to make the same mistakes again. When I learned, I was convicted, and the rest is history.
[/quote]

This and this pretty much, along with EWTN. The same debater had a very uncomfortable way of bashing everything I held dear while being a Baptist. Good books and EWTN, and Missy's personal witness living out her faith helped a whole lot; and then of course, for the actual conversion...seventeen of you were apparently involved in a Novena to my now patron saint. ;) By the time I went through RCIA I didn't learn too much, except how good a parish I was entering, with people who honestly cared for the faith.

I still learn from Phatmass, EWTN, books, and so many more sources. If we cease to learn and grow in our faith, then we become stagnant, and that's never good.

I was given infused knowledge of the Catholic Faith during my conversion. Since then I've studied with books, classes, websites and all that and it has been downhill ever since.

This was hilarious! Reason being because it is the exact same thing with me.
Except I had a really good Jesuit Priest help me discern and learn aswell.
Oh and my brothers and cousins converted at the same time as me, so we all had plenty of "debates"
and were able to come to some greater truths.

More than I learned my Catholic faith, I learned how to be a good Catholic from the Saints. That was what convicted me enough to spend long sleepless nights over sites like phatmass, catholic answers, other sorts of apologetics sites, and new advent

I made a promise to God to go where he asked me to go and do what he asked me to do.

And I would try to whine as little as possible.
