MissyP89
J--I don't have any advice on FUS, but I just tranferred from a 2-year school to a 4-year public university with over 10,000 students. It can be overwhelming, and I totally know what you mean in saying it's hard to meet people. Being the new kid can be just as difficult as it was when someone new came to elementary school. Try to connect with other transfers. Join clubs. I know the workload is intense, but you need something you can use to destress. For me at public school, that was Catholic Campus Ministry and the school paper. The people there aren't my best friends, but I trust them, and we have good relationships. Just do your best to take baby steps and put yourself out there. It takes a long time--I am still adjusting, too. Hang in there.
