Zladko Sudac Youtube Talks

Here are two youtube talks given by the Croatian Catholic priest & mystic Zladko Sudac.

These first two are just a little talk called 'The Crazy Age We Live In' A diagnosis on the times we live in and why we are miserable and why we have to fight against this perverse age, and what to do, etc.

I just found this out now, on the bottom right of the youtube screen there is a little arrow pointing up. Click on the close caption and you get a translation of the talk on the screen.

He is worth watching and listening too I'll post new ones as I see them.

I stopped watching when he said that sociologists and psychiatrists are men of science

Why? Each is a student of science.

Watching it. So far I agree with everything he has said, wish there were more Priests like him.

I love him. He seems live a truly happy person, and genuine and sincere.
It is a blessing having all those youtubes of him. They have been accumulating over the past few months. I want to watch his Eucharistic adoration next. They also have one of him talking about Confession, and another about the Ten Commandments, and others.

I stopped watching when he called soccer a sport, and metal sculpting an art. The cad.

Hey, I really like these videos. I had heard of this priest before, mostly from other posts here at P.M., but I had never had any other exposure to him other than that. Great stuff. Thank you, Kafka. :)

And I really dig the closed-captioning feature at You Tube. How great!

Phatmass will love this:

It creeps me out the way people grab out to touch his vestments and then bless themselves.

right now I am halfway through his 40 minute talk on prayer. It is excellent. He is teaching the people how to pray in the great tradition of the mystics yet in his own unique way. He likes to call the will our 'tabernacle.'

Yes that is a over the top how people touch his vestments and cross themselves, yet understandable I guess since miracles have been wrought through his Mass and prayers.

Just finished the talk on prayer. Divided into four parts. It is golden. Such a gift:

This is the guy that some Catholics think is a leader of mystic prophecies, correct? When people rally around a person in a supernatural spirit, for the sake of alleged miracles (or perhaps merely the person's charismatic skills), I am instantly skeptical / guarded. Extreme caution is warranted to minimize the ever-present risk of scandal and disillusion.

No one is rallying around him. A very few people think he is the Angelic Shepherd of prophecy, but what does it matter what they think? Their thinking this or that will not change a thing. God's plan will become clear in time. God will lead people to do his work regardless of what anyone says or thinks or cares.

In Father Sudac's case his gifts have already been tried by the Holy See and the Bishop of his diocese. He has been sent around the world to be examined by renown doctors and he always has someone monitoring him. He preaches from the pulpit in the name of Christ and the Church. So it seems we are past the point of extreme caution, though I share your concern about the problem of false mystics and prophets as well as false private revelations, though these are easy to spot by one seasoned in the faith since their doctrine tends to be mixed with both good and bad, that is why I watch the youtube or read the webpage before I post anything.

It seems to me that he is a gift of God to the Church. We all groan about how evil the world is and how bad some of the priests are yet here is a holy priest walking the walk and talking the talk even though he is constantly in the spotlight and being scrutinized. Teaching people how to live amidst all the chaos. The living God continues to bless us with an overabundance in spite of all the evil.

I think the reason I started is to share knowledge about him and I think his talks are beneficial. If I lived during the time of Saint Francis and Padre Pio I would want to be edified and encouraged by them, since they were holy. Same idea here.
